I live just between Wasington state and Oregon state, where there is a Columnbia river between them.
Along the river, there are highways: SR-14 on Wasington and I-84 on Oregon.
As I haven't traveled those roads to eastern washington, I decided to trip to the Maryhill Museum of Art this weekend. The museum is located in 2 hours drive from Portland using I-84/SR-14. So, it is a good target:)
Also I read that there is a replica of the Stonehenge there, so I wanted to see that too.
I used SR-14 (good seanary, but takes time) to get there, and used I-84 (not good senary, but fast) to return from there.
Good weather. ISO 100. UV filter only.
From the viewpoint "Cape Horn": a view toward east. I was surprised that this place is just 20 minutes drive from home.
Hoodriver on Oregon side.
Just after the Hoodriver, the senary changes. It is called high-desert.
This is the Maryhill Museum of Art. There is nothing around there, just the building and its garden.
They have a collection of chess board from all over the world.
They also have a good Rodin's. Below is "Hand of God".

This is the replica of the Stonehenge. It's 10 minutes drive from the museum.
