After having lived in the world of developing web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL, C#, ASP.NET) for a couple of years, I am now back to C++ development.
I'm kind of surprised how much the C++ world got changed! (I knew the development of the C++, but hadn't had a time to actually trying it)
Well, this means, I'm now learning C++ again - it is almost like a new language!
Microsoft has a nice web site:
Welcome Back to C++ (Modern C++)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/hh279654.aspx
It looks like all the major platform support C++11 - Visual Studio 2013, Xcode 5, Android NDK/Eclipse - that's good news.
